Faam has been a well-known brand in the Netherlands for many years. Liquorice is the most famous variety, but gums and peppermints in 500 gram bags and rolls are also popular. Faam has a strong history, due in part to consumer confidence. These products offer very good value for money and are much loved by young and old.

Liquorice

Faam sweet, salty and mixed liquorice is available in many Dutch supermarkets such as Jan Linders, Poiesz, Boni-Markten, Coop, DeWitKom@rt, Deen, Emte, Prisma, Jumbo and Vomar Voordeelmarkt. It is at these regionally very popular supermarkets where the consumer truly appreciates the price/quality relationship.
In addition, all types of liquorice are sold in 1 kg bags under the Faam brand at self-service wholesalers, such as Makro and Sligro. This liquorice frequently makes its way to scoop containers in specialist sweet retailers, such as Jamin. Faam liquorice is also often available in scoop containers at Kruidvat and Etos outlets, but this is not recognised as a brand as such.

Peppermint

Faam peppermint in rolls sells well in various Dutch supermarkets. In Germany, Faam peppermint has a very strong position and the rolls have achieved a permanent place on supermarket shelves. At the Breda production plant, much peppermint is manufactured which is sold by different supermarket chains under their own brand.

Gums

Since the start of 2004, Faam has also brought so-called silos on the market, in the form of 400 gram gums. Mainly available as mixes, these are in many supermarkets and drugstores alongside mixed liquorice types. The handy silos are a success and have an effect on current events. In this way Faam Inkoppertjes were effective during the 2004 European Football Championship.
